Anti-Draft: Oh When The Saints Don't Go Marching

By Ben Hafer

Today's armed forces certainly have changed since the old days when war seemed almost barbaric; modern warfare has since become man's greatest aesthetic invention, the only uniting force which can bring the truly great men of our age together and that can successfully tap into their combined technologically creative abilities to artistically design ingenious methods of destroying each other. Yes, the Marines are looking for a few good men , but good for what? Since it is obvious that the morality and objectives of our armed forces are a direct reflection of those of our society and are thus unimpeachable the question that you must ask yourself before enlisting, or accepting the gracious invitation called the Draft, is whether or not you are made of the corrigible synthesis of pure destructive aggression and unthinking patriotic stupidity that our armed forces demand from each successful soldier.

The Armed Forces' brochures repeatedly state that the main quality they are looking for in their recruits is patriotism. If you are very patriotic, it shows you have the unquestioning and blank mentality that is easily molded by arguments that need not be rational in nature, furthermore, it implies that you am probably easily awed and tend to serve symbols of authority with blind fanaticism that easily defeats ails elf-evident laws of decent human conduct and respect for fellow humanity. So if your patriotism is such that you would do anything "Uncle Sam" says, no matter how insane the orders, you are one of the few good men the Armed Forces are looking for.

The next essential quality that insures a successful career in the military is a tendency towards violent aggression against humanity. If you don't already have the courage or inclination to coldly' exterminate fellow members of the human race, don't worry, because they will gladly submit you to time proven programs which can change even the most hopeless conscientious objector into a non-thinking killing machine that sincerely believes that he is merely eliminating the enemy unlike the criminal be condemns who "Murders" people. So even if you think that you could not destroy a fellow human being, the uninterrupted cruelty, hatred, and sadism that you will be submitted to may fast change your opinion drastically about your self-worth and the value of human life in general: join cause the Army will make a man out of you.

In all human beings, there is at least a dormant desire to perform acts of cruelty, hatred, and ignorance. The Armed Forces, unlike any other organization existing today, offers a program that not only develops these characteristics in its participants and supplies more than ample ways to execute these acts.

Join today -- and who knows? You might even live through it yourself.
