"A look over the state proves, too, that the goal of equal schools for Negroes is becoming a reality. In community after community splendid new schools, equal in all respects to the white schools, are going up. It is encouraging and a credit to all of Georgia. While the nagging segregation problem will remain with us for an unfortunate time, the problem of inadequate schools for Negroes will no longer be on the conscience of our people."
