Atlanta Board of Education Resolution:

"BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education of Atlanta express its great appreciation to Miss Ira Jarrell, Superintendent, and to her staff for what, in the opinion of the Board, has been in outstanding accomplishment in the management of the affairs of the Atlanta School System.

"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board is aware of the extreme problems being faced and solved incident to the conversion of the System to a K-7-5-V basis, and the Board expressly commends the energy, intelligence and efficiency with which the solution of these problems is proceeding,

"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED

that the Board has confidence that the Atlanta schools under the leadership of the present Superintendent will give an ever increasing educational service to the cornmunity."

GRADY--Extending northward to the city limits, westward to Peachtree Street and Crescent Avenue, and southeast to Cain Street, Hilliard Street, Forrest Avenue, Ponce de Leon Avenue, Frederica, Drewry, Highland Avenue, Rosedale Drive, end Rosedale Road.

BASS--Extending northeast to the city limits and bound on the northwest by the southeastern boundary of Grady School division. Bound on the west by Hilliard Street and on the south by the Georgia Railroad and Seaboard Railway tracks, Warren, Trotti, Warlick, Robson, Emery, Feridam and Madison Streets, Deland Drive, Second Avenue, Northern Street, Fayetteville Road, and Pharr Road.

MURPHY--Extending southwest to the city limits bordered on the north by the southern boundary of Bass School division, and on the west by Moreland Avenue.

ROOSEVELT--Extending south from the Georgia and Seaboard tracks to the city limits-, bordered on the east by Moreland Avenue, and on the west by Grant Street, A&WP Railroad tracks and Capitol Avenue.

BROWN--Extending southwest to the city limits, bound on the north by Simpson Street, Mayson and Turner Road, and Hunter Street, and on the east by the Southern Railway and Capitol Avenue

O'KEEFE--Extending northwest to the city limits from Simpson Street, Mayson and Turner Road, Hunter Street. Cain Street Peachtree Street, and Crescent Avenue,

SMITH--Bordered on the north by Cain Street, on the east by Hilliard and Grant Streets, on the south by A&WP Railroad and on the west by the Southern Railway.
