Directions to Lake Wedington

From Central Arkansas

Take I-40 west toward Fort Smith.

Take the I-540 exit going north toward Fayetteville.

Take exit 45 for Hwy 16.

Keep driving for a good while. After you pass the Ozark National Forest sign, start watching for the lake on your right. After you pass the lake, look for the Lake Wedington Recreation Area signs, which will be on the right hand side of the road. Turn left at the second of these signs. Go straight on the main road past the rental booth. (Note that you do not need to pay a daily visitor fee as that is included in our rental of the group camp site.) Watch for the small, yellow Dragon Crest signs, which will lead you to the group camp area.
