and look for events labeled "AR."

Weekend Event Details

Times: The event will start on Friday night around 8pm (check-in opens at 6pm) and run until Sunday at around 3pm. Skill/mana reset will be on Saturday at 5pm, and production for the second day of the event must be done between 4 and 5pm on Saturday.

Cost: For current members the event fees will be $30 for the full event if you pre-reg ($35 at the door) or $20 for a single day if you pre-reg ($25 at the door). New members will also need to pay their $20 annual dues, which includes your first event for free!

Pre-reg Deadline: Pre-regs must be received IN WRITING OR VIA EMAIL by the Sunday before the event at midnight. If you tell Marti in person you better watch and make sure she writes it down. If we don't have a written record of it you will pay full price. (And don't even bother telling Doug because he will either forget, lose the piece of paper he writes it on, or both.)

Pre-reg Info: Please include the following info with your pre-reg so that we can speed-up check-in: what character you plan to play, production requests (including DP purchases), what to spend your unspent CP on (if you have a character that we maintain). If your character is maintained in another chapter, please include a list of your character's daily taggable skills, including mana and number of levels of CO skills. If you wish to start a new character, or you are from another chapter and wish us to maintain your character, please include your character's stats as well.

Build: Full weekend event build of 100% will apply for PCs. NPCs who pre-reg by the deadline will receive an extra 25%.

Early Arrivals: Those who are coming from out of town and will be arriving Thursday night may choose between crashing at our place that night or proceeding directly to the site. If you plan to go to the site, be sure that you have flashlights. The advantage of arriving early is that we usually have plenty of things that need to be done on Friday that we will pay you DP for doing!

Location: Overnight events are held at our permanent site, Camp Satyrchase. Camp Satyrchase is a rustic camp that is still under development. Please read the details and advice about the camp on our site info page.

Site Work Days Details

These are days that we will be out at Camp Satyrchase slaving away to make your gaming experience more enjoyable. And we could sure use your help!

The next activities on the docket are things like putting finishing touches on buildings 1 and 2, digging a drainage area for our camp shower, clearing trails, clearing some of the treetops left by the loggers (and preparing the thicker limbs for use in building cabins!). We also need some work done on our short claws and some new weapons built. And we could use some maintenance work on some of our tabards, too.

Why should you help? Aside from the benefits of the fresh air and exercise, you'll also be handsomely rewarded with Dragon Points (which can be used to obtain in game items, get discounts off of events, bribe plot, etc. -- see your rule book for details)! And we’ll feed you lunch!

Anyone that wishes to help out on two consecutive days is welcome to crash at our place on Saturday night if you don't want to drive all the way back to Fayetteville or parts beyond.

There are no set schedules for these weekends. We are usually out there every Saturday on which there is not a local or Kansas Dragon Crest event. We try to send notice to the DCNWA Yahoo mailing list and on the AR OOG Forum as soon as we know for sure that we will be out at the site on a given weekend.

Please call or email Marti if you plan to attend a work day so that you can arrange a meeting time. If you want to get there REALLY early we can arrange to get you a key to the property so you can get started without us. J
