Recently, a review of a Pavement concert was posted on The Fan Boy Rant Page.  Fan reaction has been fast and furious.  For example:

From Deep In The Heartland Of America, Sharon M. Rants:

Boy do I ever know what you are talking about.   Although it was not on the online wave, it was face to face.  Years ago,   I saw Marilyn Manson live, I think it was 94 or 95 and we met them and they were real nice and chatty, then in 1996 they were a little less talkative and more star like, then in 1997, they were total assholes.  I am not a huge fan, but who says that when you become famous you have to be an asshole?  Is there some committee that sits around and delegates assholes...  "Brad Pit, after the success of the Devil's Own, you have been inducted into the hall of assholes."  On the other side of things, I also met Tori Amos and she was really nice.  And the coolest one I have ever come in contact with would have to me Ian from Fugazi he was totally cool.  I just hate that after you become famous you forget that you are human.  Which I suppose is part "our" fault because we forget celebrities sit around and watch Geraldo in their underwear too.  Maybe if we would all just chill out and forget everything maybe then people would be cool and we could all just hang out.
