A few publications including the New York Times have run stories exposing
the blatant lack of real life band members from the Pavement On-line chat room.
To think that S.M. And the others have nothing better to do than wake
up early in the morning after two nights of playing and respond to stupid love-sick
questions from the likes of yourself, Barbara, is absurd. And to dismiss
the masterpiece "Brighten the Corners" because some computer-impersonator crushed
your heart is downright foolish indeed.
