Hello. My name is Kyle Carlson and I'm a PoetPhotographer/Graphic Artist/Physics Thang.
Why is my home page titled "Bilskirnir"? Well, my middle name is Thor (my Dad's family comes from Sweden and my Mom let him choose the middle names ... I got lucky). Thor's home in Norse mythology is called Bilskirnir. Very appropriate, nicht wahr? If you have any interest in Norse mythology, please check out Nicole Cherry's home page. She has a complete description of all the Norse gods as well as pretty neat stuff on geneaology. And speaking of geneaology, I am doing some research into my family. In the very near future I will be uploading said research onto a special page. If you are a Carlson or Lindquist from Sweden, or a Rogers from Wales please keep an eye out you might see yourself.
This is the most important member of my family, Frigga, Queen of all She surveys. She used to live on a residential construction site until I rescued her, but even then she showed signs of greatness: the whole neighborhood ended up feeding her as she moved from one house to the next demonstrating her remarkable powers of influence. Now, if only I can learn a thing or two from her...

(December 1, 1998) Frigga and I have moved into a new house now (or part of one) in the "4th Ward" district of Atlanta (don't ask why that name, I don't know). It's a nice place, but Frigga does not like the dog that roams the yard. She is beginning to get acclimated to her new home and offers this small suggestion to anyone moving: "Small spiders are nice as they squish nicely under the paw. Big spiders are not nice... ever!"
(January 30, 1999) Frigga has finally settled down and I have to go and get a new kitten. My boss had a strange cat have kittens in his garage and I volunteered to take one of them so that Frigga might have some company. The new cat is black and white (I'll have pictures shortly) and is spastic and uncontrollable. Frigga still hasn't proven to be the dominant cat yet, but I have high hopes for her! Right now I think the new cat will be named Orpheus (because he keeps making noises), but if he doesn't learn to keep himself clean his name will be DooDoo Butt. If anyone knows how to make a cat clean himself, please let me know.
(December 1, 2001) Orpheus no longer has his little bottom problem. HE'S ALL GROWN UP. But he doesn't seem to like that many people (except me). I think when he was a kitten the three daughters of my ex-boss, in their enthusiasm mistreated him and his siblings with too much handling. It took me over a year to get him to not attack me whenever I touched him. but now he's my little buddy.
(July 1997) Some friends and I took a 4th of July trip to Savannah. If you want to see some of the poetry friends I hang out with as well as some of the incredibly beautiful scenery that Savannah boasts go ahead and check out this page. Be warned, it may take up to 8 minutes to load, but the wait is more than worth it.
(December 2001)How Cool!! The year before last I won a big screen TV and a Super Bowl Party, and last year I won a trip to Hawaii. I just went at the end of November and it was simply Super-Marvelous! I want to thank more especially than anyone Michiko and Sho. If it wasn't for these two I would have probably had an only ok vacation, but I met them on the Volcano tour and they made my whole week the best ever!!
