Comments: NEW TO THE WEB BUT I'VE ENJOYED FINDING ARTIFACTS FOR 5 YEARS. SO FAR THIS YEAR I'VE BEEN OUT LOOKING 6 TIMES AND DOING REALLY WELL. THE BOOTS ARE ALWAYS MUDDY AND THE WIFE IS ALWAYS WONDERING WHEN I'M GOING TO COME HOME. I BET THIS IS A COMMON OCCURANCE. JR..

Comments: I have helped my family collect a pretty impressive amount of arrowheads and our collection numbers around 3,000 points, spearsscrapers, grinding stones, pipes, marbles, awls, some potteryMy parents started hunting in the late 60's and by the time I was born in 75 they were beginning to start one step plowing in southeast KSsince most of our collection is surface finds we really haven't been able to add significantly as we once did. I would like to hear from people in other parts of the country about their experience with the decliningof this great past time.

Comments: I am a hunter of points and stone tools in Central Ohio. I am a surface hunter (plowed fields, after heavy rains). I havebeen hunting for over 1.5 years and am ADDICTED! I have over 60 points (whole and fragments), 1 full grooved stone axe and a clay trading pipe. I want to swap stories on hunting strategies, major finds, etc.... Am looking for "happy hunting grounds" and advice on the Southeast US (Atlanta, GA). I STOP FOR PLOWED FIELDS !
