Hello scottr; I really would like to share my own nde with your readers. I am now a 40 yr old single father in ontario, canada. I was serving the military at the time. It was dec 26th 85 I had my entire family over for a boxing day get together. My brother decided he wanted to go skidooing before the meal. We had had a couple drinks, but I felt secure enough in my solberness to agree after checking it out with my then fiance. With her approval, we took off, each on a skidoo owned my my fiance & I. We neded gas so we stopped at a service station on the base, prior to heading out into the artillery ranges miles away from a living person. After refueling, we began to leave when, WHAM!! I heard a loud cracking sound & felt a feeling like someone with blow torches for hands grabbing the base of my neck & dragging upwards toward the top of my head. The pain was beyond words. I saw stars & my vision was immediately impaired. I grtabbed at my head yelling out in pain. My brother asked what was the matter? I explained what I had experienced & as I did, the pain subsided to an acceptable level. He asked if I wanted to go home? No I said the pain is gone. My visor was very dirty or something, I couldn't see properly still but I said lets go to the ranges as planned. Just as we began to pull away from the station I felt the same thing again only this time worse.I again yelled out in pain grabbed at my head & neck!! My brother again asked what was wrong. As the pain subsided I told him. He said we should go home that he felt this was serious & I should lead the way because he did not know how to get home from our position. I told him I couldn't because I could not see enough of anything . He said again he did not know his was back. I started to feel panic, feer & a nausiating feeling . I agreed to lesad the way as best I could. I led the way creeping along almost at a complete stop. It seemed to take forever to get there but we finally pulled into the back yard of my military home. I was feling really scareed by now! I entered the kitchen not even removing my snowmobile suit or boots & fell to the floor in a sitting position. My mom asked what was the matter? I explained what had happened & that I couldn't see properly. My other brother said, stop kidding around Don. My fiance waved her hand in front of my eyes & with no response to my eyes she said , hes not joking! After a couple minuites I gotr up & walked into the living room & said to my mom, after I get off the phone, you will drive my to the hospital. She seemed in shock but she agreed. After a couple minuites my mind or memory went blank for me. I am told that I talked to hospital staff for almost half an hour. Three days later I woke in a hospital in Toronto. I was later told what transpired during that period that I blanked out. In the ambulance along the way I died for a short while. I recall as what seemed to be a dream, floating in a distant corner of the ambulance watching my mother crying out Oh my god! he died!! I watched the attendant working on my body. Next thing I knew I was back in my own body & I heard my mom saying oh look he's back! She cried. In the hospital, after several tests, I had died a couple more times & was revived. I recall leaving the hospital where I was & going to another hospital in another part of the city where a pregnant woman was giving birth after being critically injurred. The doctor said she had just died & to get the baby out. I somehow becam that baby. They pulled me out by my feet & just asd they spanked my bottom , I left that babyies body & watched from a corner of the room as that baby cried out. The mother was not revived. I Left there & went back to the hospital where I was being worked on. My skull was opened, they were fixing a ruptured anyrism in my brain. I recalled leavinbg this room again. This time I went into a room filled with what I thought was smoke. There was a gate it looked like shiny gole the room was bright beyone words. I recall feeling peace. No fear & no pain, I was not happy nor was I sad. I fely tranquility. A man on the other side asked whgat I wanted? I told him I needed to pass through the gate . He said "no don, It isn't your time". I said ",but I feel I have to go through! He again said, no don it is not your time yet, go back to your family . ! I left there & returned to the operating room where the were applying the paddles to my body. Just as they said cleare & my body was shocked, I was back in my body & I gasped for air! It was a very strange experience! I tried talking to friends & family about it & all they did was make me feel like I was weird. So I am sharing my story with you & everyone who may want to read about this experience & if they can make heads or tales of it, I'd be happy to listen to it. Thanks for your time & for giving me this oportunity to share my experience . I remain; Don, Ontario, Canada
