"Wisdom from the Light" by Ray Osborne
Thanks for previewing my light experience. This
is an experience which had a profound effect on my life, so
profound it changed the way I perceive life and giving
reason to my life. It is my belief that when one has
light experience that they are imparted with some
divine wisdom that needs to be shared with all of
mankind. I hope that this testimony will encourage
others and I would like to meet them. Perhaps we can
put together our collective wisdom and help more
people. While my frame of reference is in Christian
terms I openly receive people of whatever belief
system that is of the light.
About 12 years ago my mother developed cancer and it just
seemed so hopeless it didn't seem that man's technology was
working so I went off the find a miracle. I had heard of faith
healing and started visiting charismatic churchs to find a
miracle. I went to a major Church of God here in Atlanta and
asked around. I met a lady who asked me if I had accepted Jesus
into my heart and I knew I really had not so I let her lead me
in the prayer of faith.
I still wanted that miracle for my mom and prayed a lot and
had other people pray. One night when I was with her she
passed away. Just after she died a visitor came to our door
who was a local neighbor and a Methodist minister. A few minutes
later the chaplain at our hospital showed up. There was much
crying and grief somebody suggested we join hands and pray. Oh
I felt that was so right and accepted it readily. The prayer was
beautiful but during the prayer I felt the presence of an
embodiment of love and light. It didn't seem like so much I
felt it but rather I saw it spiritually. I felt my spiritual
eyes had been opened. My encounter with this divine presence
didn't last long but it made such a impression on me that I was
filled with tears of joy and asked everybody else if they had
experienced this. My chaplain comforted me and assured it was real
although nobody could confirm it. I left it privatley after that
only sharing when it meant some I might give testimony. It was an
experience that meant a lot to me and I heard soon later a scripture
that meant so much to me with this experience. "Where two or three
are gathered together in my name there you will find me in the midst
of them" There seemed deep inside me that there was link with
this passage to my experience and through my life later I have
discovered other scriptural and even other sacred writing links
to this divine wisdom that was within me.
I believe now that there is another side into life eternal and
that I had the priviledge to peak between the veil of life and
death and life everlasting. Moreso I feel that there is a divine
wisdom within us.
I use keywords a lot in my business and if I would describe this
encounter I would say the keywords were.
"love,holy,light,comfort,purity and recognition"
Now I want to find other people who have light experiences and
see how it has changed them and to what purpose they are
living their lives. I am a cyber entrepeneur now and have
