In 1905 Fred Holland & Margaret Luke Holland came to the USA from Belfast, Northern Ireland.  They brought one daughter, Josephine Holland, with them.  They settled first in Boston, Mass and in 1926 came to Atlanta, Ga. Fred was a master steam fitter and managed as many as six plumbing shops at one time.

Josephine is buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Cascade Rd., Fulton County, Atlanta, GA with her parents.  

Josephine married William Robinson 1917 in Massachusetts.  William was born in England 1888

Josephine and William had five (5) children

William Holland  (b06 08 1902) (d. 1904) Belfast Northern Ireland

burned to death and is buried in Belfast Northern Ireland in the Belfast City Cemetery.

Walter  Holland  (b Jan 1903) ( d 1903) Belfast Northern Ireland

died at birth and is buried in Belfast Northern Ireland in the Belfast City Cemetery.

 Clara Holland (b15 June 1906) ( d  21 Oct 1968 Atlanta, GA)

1926 married Levy Childers b  22 June 1906 Dalton, GA

d Fulton County, GA

Clara and Levy had five (5) children.  One died as an infant with 3 sons and one daughter surviving. 

Clara and Levy are buried at Greenwood Cemetery, Cascade Rd., Fulton County, Atlanta, GA in the plot next to her parents.

John Swaine Holland (b 07-Nov 1908) Massachusetts  (d 1 March 1971) Fulton County, Atlanta GA

Buried Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Candler Rd., DeKalb Cty., Decatur, GA.

1927 married Addie Mae Zogg of Fulton County, GA

John (Jack) Swaine Holland & Addie Mae had six (6) children with five (5) surviving.  Infant died at birth 1931 and is buried with father at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Candler Rd., DeKalb County, Decatur, GA.

John (Jack) Swaine Holland, Jr. - son of John S Holland & Addie Mae Zogg Holland is my husband.

Edward Holland is buried Greenwood Cemetery, Cascade Rd., Fulton County, Atlanta, GA

Eddie married and had one daughter named Doris.  After his death little is know about the whereabouts of his wife or daughter.  It is said they went back to New York.

Fred  Holland  (b 1910 Quincey, Mass.)  ( d Snellville, Gwinnett Cty., GA)

Married Idell and they had two children.

Elizabeth Holland  b 1915 Quincey, Mass  d Henry County, GA 

Married J. B. Bagwell and they had three (3) children all of them sons.

Margaret Holland  b 1913 Quincy, Mass. d Maysville, GA.

Married Albert George and they had five (5) children.

As far as we know no one else from Fred's family came to the USA.
