RuPaul's first professional stage appearance was as Riff-Raff in the Theatrical Outfit
of Atlanta's summer stock presentation of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It played to
sold out houses all summer long; and, because of that success, RuPaul was asked back to
perform in another summer stock production, The Shaggy Dog Animation, an original
musical scored by Jimmy Harry. That's how RuPaul met his songwriting partner Jimmy
Harry which resulted in RuPaul's mega-hit Tommy Boy CD SuperModel of the World.
