Los Angeles E3 UO Meeting

The Electronic Entertainment Expo came back in 1999 to Los Angeles where it belongs. There will be photos of the event itself posted in the future, but this page is devoted to one special meeting I had during the show.

My first meeting with an Ultima Online player! Here I am with Luca Bonini, aka Nehroh, who I met on the Chesapeake shard. We were both members of the Crusaders of Northern Light [CNL] guild. At the time of this meeting, Luca has been playing Armand on the Drachenfels shard. Again, we were in the same guild, Moonglow Cemetery Crawlers [MCC]. Luca has since left the guild and the shard, but still plays UO. However, I rarely see him online. Last I heard, he returned to Chesapeake...

Luca's brother Maurizio is on the left. They came all the way from Italy for E3! (Well...they also do business in the U.S. so they come to this country fairly often.) Luca told me ahead of time to look for Maurizio as he's "bald as an egg"! Can't tell with his cap ;-). Maurizio used to play UO but has moved on. Both of them play Asheron's Call. Anyway, this was the first of what I hope to be many meetings with fellow UO players.
