Linux
Linux is a powerful implementation of UNIX that
is free of charge. Started as a project by Linus Torvalds while
attending college in Finland, Linux has become a labor of love
for hundreds of programmers around the world. Linux is available
for Machintosh's, IBM PC's, Sun workstations, and computers based
on DEC's Alpha CPU, Motorola's Power PC and others.
