| Merry Christmas
and Happy New Year to all of our friends and family! I hope that each of you had a joyous
year. Jack and I continue
to be blessed with good health, good friends and a wonderful family. I'm delighted
to report that Daddy continues to have many good days. Mother is holding up as his
caregiver; however, I can see the physical and mental toll it is taking on her.
Please keep them in your prayers. |

| In the Spring, I
had a great opportunity to transfer to an International department. I jumped at the
chance and have not regretted my choice. During the Spring, we also enjoyed our
annual sabbatical to St Augustine. This year we were joined by dear friends. My niece, Sarah, moved here from Alaska
this summer. We are delighted to have her so near. She is a sweet girl
and a joy to all of us. |

| We took a "very long"
road trip...to Lubbock, Tx this fall. We throughly enjoyed visiting and relaxing
with our extended family. While we were in Texas, Brent was back home breaking his
foot. The break would not heal. In December they put a pin in his foot.
We are praying that this will help his healing process. In
November we suffered a tragic loss. Two of Jack's nieces, Megan (16) and Maggie (14) were
killed in a devastating automobile accident. We find peace in the knowledge that we
will someday see these precious angels again.
Thanks to all of our family and
friends for being there for us...celebrating our good times and sharing our sorrows.
We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that you have a safe and blessed
2001.
Love,
Sharon |
