Arlie was born on October 20, 1918 in Blaine, Lawrence County, Kentucky to Henry Harrison Pack and Missouri Chandler. Arlie served in the United States Army in World War II. He entered service April 27, 1943 and was discharged from Camp Reynolds, Pennsylvania on November 3, 1944 with the rank of Private. His service number was 356-58-467. Details of his military service are incomplete at this time. Arlie met Ethel Conley, from Van Lear, Kentucky, and had 2 children: Arlie Ray and George Paul born December 4, 1946 in Louisa, Lawrence County, Kentucky and died May 11, 1948 in Blaine. There is no evidence of marriage for Arlie and Ethel as of this date. Arlie died on June 3, 1977. He is buried in Scioto Burial Park, Scioto County, Ohio.--Beverly L. Pack (niece)
