"OBIT. [paper unknown] HOWARD PACK, 69 of Wheelersburg, died Thursday August 28, 1997 at River Valley Health System in Ironton. A native of Kenova, W. Va., he was born March 9, 1928 to the late Lindsay and Fannie Ball Pack. He was a retired school bus driver for the Wheelersburg Schools with 25 years of service and was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane Pack on December 25, 1995; one brother, Thomas Pack; and two sisters, Lois Gossett and Florence Cooper. Surviving are six brothers: Lindsay Pack of Eldorado, IL, Cletus Pack of Detroit, MI, William Pack and Bertel Pack, both of Jacksonville, FL, Ronald Pack of Wheelersburg, and Fleery Pack of Sciotoville; three sisters: Eunice Secrest of Slocum Station, Betty Spaulding of Sciotoville, and Linda Pack of Pensacola, FL; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 2, 1997 at the Brant Funeral Home in Sciotoville with Rev. Dan Widdig officiating. Burial in Memorial Burial Park."
