Below is a brief listing of each of element of the Fruit of the Spirit.
In the self-evaluation column, write down how you think you're doing, but
more importantly, write down what progress you've made over the semester,
why you haven't done more, and what your plans are for the future.
| Fruit | Description | Self Evaluation |
| Love | Extension of oneself for the benefit of others. True agape-based selflessness. | |
| Joy | Giving thanks in all circumstances; realizing that a lack of joy comes largely from sin. | |
| Peace | Freedom from anxiety. The ability to be at ease in all circumstances, focused on being faithful rather than successful. | |
| Patience | Being forgiving and slow to anger, unflappable, willing to wait. | |
| Gentleness | Understanding your own power and the vulnerability of those around us. Going out of your way to be softest with those who are weakest. | |
| Goodness | Having a genuine, inner desire for the happiness of others, and then working to bring it about. | |
| Faith | Active faithfulness. (1) Holding on, even when it is appealing to find something more tangible to rely on; (2) Letting go and counting on God. | |
| Meekness | Submitting to the authority of others, especially when we have the means and desire to do otherwise. | |
| Temperance | Moderation, especially in material things. Living simply, without excess or self-indulgence. |
