The Natural Fiber Gang
Charlie
14 y.o. male beagleAKA: Big Man, Poo Head, Charles B. Jones

Charlie's natural state is sleeping or pottying, sometimes both at the same time. He enjoys a nice handmade granny square afghan or, as shown above, a store-bought ribbed knit blanket. As long as it will make a nest, he will use it. Charlie is my most versatile fiber donator--he provides white, brown, red and black fibers any time of year. And he does not require brushing, he leaves fibers without even asking for them!
Karmann
9 y.o. female DSHAKA: Karmann Ghia, Big B**bs, Her Royal Majesty

Karmann is best known for screaming at the top of her lungs. It is like yoga to her, she is repeating her mantra as she releases her energy. She screams because she only has one volume level, she screams when she is happy, hungry, sleepy, mad, frisky, cold or bored. Karmann prefers smooth textured sweaters (no cables or bobbles, please!) and handknit throws on which to sleep. These are also her favorite places to donate fiber. It is convenient for me, because all the fiber is one place, one big round circle in the shape of a fat ass cat.
Dobby
5 (?) y.o. female Dachschund/YorkieAKA: Psycho Killer, Dobby Ann Stubbins

Dobby is a non-stop destroying rampage on four short little legs. She will eat anything that will fit in her destructive little mouth. This includes Charlie and Karmann (they are SO fond of her, by the way). She enjoys all yarns, all fibers, all types of needles--even aluminum! To Dobby, a FO is simply a FM (Future Meal). She is my luxury fiber donator, with her long silky Yorkie hair. Fortunately it has to be brushed to be harvested for the most part.
Teeni
14 y.o. female LabAKA: Saggy B**bs, Young Lady, Lady Poette

Although Teeni is no longer around, I am still finding soft downy black hair under the sofa and in corners. That's really why I don't clean more (yeah, right), because she's still here, donating fiber. Teeni often tried to felt herself by staying out in the rain, but she only succeeded in making everything smell like wet dog.
