A Whole New Year!
Well, so it's been a year since I posted to this blog. HAHA! Lots of people have made dog sweaters during that time, but I finished Dobby's Big Bird sweater yesterday. Here is Dobby showing off her bright new duds!

This is a good shot of the shoulder increases and the little cuffs.

I could have made it longer, but I was getting impatient.

Yes, it really is that bright and shiny. This shows off the belly ribbing and rump decreases.
I used Patons Kingfisher doubled up for the body and Bernat Boa for the collar and cuffs. The pattern, Esther Bozak's Original Custom-Fit Dog Sweater, is free and fabulous. It may take some math but you will really get a custom-fit sweater. I should have continued on to make Dobby's longer but I was tired and wanted to do some decreases. I definitely want to make her another sweater--something more casual and practical--and I will absolutely use Esther's pattern again. Charlie may even get a washable something out of this.

Welcome to Pooch Along!
Hey everyone! I finally got off my butt and made the Pooch Along it's own real blog. I will try to keep it updated, but you may have to remind me!
For those of you just joining us, the Pooch Along is a dog sweater knitalong (although it's open to crocheters, too). Of course if you're making a cat or ferret sweater, you're welcome to join in as well.
If you have a blog, please blog about your sweater. If you don't have a blog, send me notes or pictures and I'll put them up. Feel free to use the button to the right, but please put it on your server, don't just link to it!
