A Ritual for Peace & Serenity
This ritual came from a 'ritual candle' I found in a 'new age' store. They
are being packaged and sold in may places, and the company that produces
this one is called 'Gift Central'. Wrapped around the candle is a small
charm on a string of jute that is nice to use during the ritual and then
to wear later to keep the rememberance of the 'energy' from the ritual
with you. Inside the candle wrapping is some nice info about
the ritual, the scent of the candle, the representation of the flame, and
the charm. I've seen these candles at stores like 'The Nature Company',
'Natural Wonders', and catalogs such as 'Red Rose'. They are great gifts
for yourself and for friends and a subtle way to introduce someone to
candle magic.
The Ritual
In a quiet place, free of distractions, sit comfortably, allowing yourself
to feel present and at ease. Into the glow of the candle, contribute
your intention to realize your desire. May your intentions bring peace and
harmony to all beings. Focus your intention and verbally affrim its truth.
