Face East and say:
O lord and lady of the east,
O powers of air,
Come gard my circle and protect my rites,
O lord and lady of the east,
O powers of air.
(Light inscense/yellow candle)

Face South and say:
O lord and lady of the south,
O powers of fire,
Come guard my circle and protect my rites,
O lord and lady of the south,
O powers of fire.
(Light a red candle)

Face West and say:
O lord and lady of the west,
O powers of water,
Come guard my circle and protect my rites,
O lord and lady of the west,
O powers of water.
(Pour water into a bowl/light blue candle)

Face North and say:
O lord and lady of the north,
O powers of earth,
Come guard my circle and protect my rites,
O lord and lady of the north,
O powers of earth.
(Pour grains of sea salt into a bowl/light a green candle)

Stand in the middle and look up:
O god and goddess of many names,
Come guard my circle and protect my rites,
Come and observe my ritual and help my through it,
O god and goddess of many names.
(Light to white candles)
