Cajungrrl's Love Ritual

 NEEDED: Incense and holder; two candles, pink and green; piece of
rose quartz; piece of optical calcite; piece of copper etched with
woman/Venus symbol; rose quartz and malachite necklace (made from beads).

PREPARATION: Place the incense and holder on the altar. Place the
two candles, side by side, in front of the incense holder.  Place the
copper, necklace, optical calcite, and rose quartz in front of the
candles.

RITUAL: Raise hands and eyes to sky, and say, "Be with me now in
my ritual, Oh Goddess, God and Spirit."

  Light the incense and the two candles. Pick up the piece of copper, 
press it to your belly, lower towards the earth and raise it to the sky, 
saying, "Bless this piece of copper, inscribed with the symbol of
Your aspect Venus, so that it might magnify the power of the necklace that
is placed upon it."

   Bless the necklace with the same movements, saying, "Bless this
necklace, made of stone sacred to You, Venus, that it might help me to
give and receive love."

   Bless the calcite, and look through it as you say, "Bless this
calcite, so that my intentions may be multiplied, just as the flames are
multiplied when viewed through its faces."

   "Bless this rose quartz, so that it may be a conduit of Your love
throughout this ritual."

   Raise hands and eyes to sky again. "I ask these things of You, Oh
Goddess, God, and the Spirit which joins us all with You."

During next part of ritual, 
[R] means place rose quartz in right hand, 
[>] means move right hand from heart chakra outwards, in a "giving" motion,
[L] means move rose quartz from right to left hand, through smoke; and 
[<] means move hand from outstretched position to heart chakra, in a
"receiving" motion.

[R]"Oh, Goddess, help me to give love to myself [>], to my family [>], and
to others [>]; [L] help me [<], my family [<] and others [<] to receive
love."

[R] "I send forth healing love [>], nurturing love [>], and sensual/sexual
love [>]; [L] and let me receive healing love [<], nurturing love [<] and
sensual/sexual love [<]."

[R] "I send forth healing love to my family [>], to those I have hurt on
my journey through life [>] and to those who have hurt me [>]; [L] let me
receive healing love from my family [<], those I have hurt [<] and those
who have hurt me [<]."

[R] "I send forth love to {name} [>], {name} [>], and {name} [>]; [L] let me
receive love from {name} [<], {name} [<], and {name} [<]."

[R] "I send forth love to all humans [>], animals [>] and plants [>] of our
planet; [L] let all humans [<], animals [<] and plants [<] receive love,
that one day we might all live in harmony."

[R] "I give love and praise to the Goddess [>], the God [>], and to the
Spirit [>] which binds us all together; [L] I ask to receive the love and
protection of the Goddess [<], the God [<], and the Spirit [<]."

   When all intentions have been said, take each item, raise to sky,
then ground and to belly, and say, "It is done."

  After last, raise hands and eyes to sky and say, "Blessed be."  Blow out 
the candles and savor the darkness for a moment.

Additionl footnote from Cajungrrl:
   I would think the necklace could be optional, or it could be a piece of
jewelry made of some gem sacred to Venus.  I'm into jewelry making so I
made myself one of malachite and rose quartz.

I asked Cajungrrl about the making of the necklace, and here's her reply;
   Well, what I did was go to the local craft store and buy malachite (and
other) gem beads and chips with pre-drilled holes, and strung them myself.
Or lacking that option, one could buy a rose quartz or malachite pendant.
Actually any green gem would do, as green is sacred to Venus, and rose
quartz is special to the heart chakra. But one could just carry the piece
of rose quartz if one couldn't get jewelry.
