Donor Parts
My wife Ginny poses with a truck load of parts. She said we looked like Sanford & Son coming home with a load of junk. (She was partly right) |
The parts were purchased in Stuart, FL. from an auto parts recycler. |

Be careful were you purchase your donor parts, here's why:
1) The parts were not ready when I drove to Florida to pick them up. |

Cape Cod is only a few miles from Factory Five Racing so we spent a day sight seeing before picking up the kit. It had snowed the night before and the scenery was beautiful. |
A nice day (more like 10 minutes) at the beach northeast style. Wind chill was about 30 below. |
When we got home (after 500 miles of ice storm) the car was unwrapped and any salt and sand that got through the cover was cleaned out. |
Ken gives the chassis it's first bath. Surprise! You just though we were out of film. |
Uhh, careful, this looks like a back injury about to happen. Be sure to have plenty of help as the chassis and body weigh close to 600 pounds. |
OK, that's a little better. |

Ahhh...safely in the garage. Welcome to your new home! |
