Looking for info on Paulina (Perlina) Boles/Boyles.
Different sources have mixed spelling. Married William Hiram Smith, son
of Joseph and Hany Smith both born 1797 in VA. Smith family moved to
Stokes Co. NC. Do not know Paulina's father's name, cannot find marriage
record in Stokes Co. Wondered if she might have come from Forsyth.
Paulina was born about 1840-1844, died between 1870 and 1881. Had
children: Frances Jane (my great-grandmother), Jetty, Ada Catherine,
Laura H, Alice Victoria, Martha, Eugene S, James Oliver, Pinkney. Would

I have a Scribner/Scrivner/Scrivener line that may be connected to the
lines in this county. My connection is Lewis Scribner who married a
Susan ? (possibly a Native American). He had brothers, Pleasant and
John. His mother may have been Dorothy or Dolly since I have found this
names in the same counties as I have found him. He moved his family to
Maury Co., Tn in the early 1800's, left sons at Scribner's Mill and moved
to Ill. returning to Tn just before his death. Can anyone provide any
info about this family

They had at least one son that I know of named William Ziegler who was
born in Stokes County on 5-11-1848.
William Ziegler married Mary Isom in Garyson County, VA in 1868. Did
