become Surry?Stokes Counties, NC., abt. 1760-70.
Joseph Waggoner'r family was orginally from Essex Co.,Va. Most likely

Seeking parents of John Parish,Jr. and Nancy Roberts who m.
1807. They lived in the Matrimony Creek area on the Stokes/
Rockingham Co. N.C-Henry Co. Va. line. His mother may be the Mary
Parish there in 1800, as sons ages are right.Who her husband?
I am not assuming a John Sr.-as at that time Jr.s and Sr.s may have just
indicated an
older and a younger man with same name in neighborhood or family-not
relationship.
Is her father Thomas Roberts who d. 1818? John Parish Jr. is listed as an
admin.,but
some people have said that Thomas" dau. Nancy is the Nancy Roberts
Joyce who went to Cross Keys Ga.
Do they have generations mixed up?
My Nancy Roberts Parish was b. 1788 in Ga. and her family moved
back to the Stokes/Rockingham Co. line before her marriage about
1807. Which Roberts went to Ga. and came back?
