Pachamama is composed of members of Sukay, the co-founder of Savia Andina, a member of Grupo Aymara and the legendary Wara as well as other creative musicians with similar musical visions. Composer, musician, and artistic director Eddy Navia has composed 12 pieces for this album to celebrate the musical rhythms and dance forms of Bolivia. |

One of the world's great pan pipes players, Fernando Jimenez, joins together with other virtuosos of Andean music to record 14 inspiring and energetic songs. The album opens with "Recuerdos de Callawaya," the first Andean melody that Sukay's Quentin Howard heard. Since then, she has dedicated her life to Andean music and this album is one of the results. |

Before joining Sukay, Eddy Navia co-founded
one of Bolivia's most famous Andean group, Savia Andina. Classics is a retrospective of
some of Savia Andina's most beautiful and haunting instrumental music. One of the first
modern groups to reclaim the traditional folk music of the rural Andes, Savia Andina
recorded three gold albums in their native Bolivia, and was hailed by their president as
the ambassadors of Bolivian folkloric music. |

Due to overwhelming popularity of their first
Sukay World Music recording, Savia Andina Classics, Savia Andina Classics 2, El Minero is
also now available from Sukay World Music. A mostly instrumental recording, Classics 2,
contains 18 tracks in more than one hour of beautifully haunting sounds reminiscent of the
strength and mystery of the Andes mountains.
