The Science of Peeps

  • If a Peep is submerged in 210 degrees of nitrogen for sixty seconds it will shatter when hit with a hammer.
  • If a Peep is put in an autoclave and exposed to 10 atmosphere at zero pressure at 350 degrees for 15 minutes it will turn to fluff.
  • Peeps show no reaction to when submerged in or injected with sulfuric acid.
  • Phenol will absorb and dissolve a Peep in 65 minutes.
  • When placed in a vacuum, the Peep will loose air and shrivel, but still be very tasty.
  • Peeps will melt when exposed to microwaves.
  • Peeps float in water and acetone, they do not dissolve.
  • Though peeps contain a load of sugar and sugary substances, they contain no fat.
