Systems Concepts is a privately owned company founded in 1980. The software company specializes in the development and installation of transaction processing systems for governmental, financial, commercial, and industrial institutions.

Systems Concepts developed and released DOS-based transaction processing software solutions in the mid 1980's. Those products offered "base" systems from which customized solutions were created to match the requirements and business needs of a variety of institutions. Beginning in the early 1990s, Systems Concepts began work on the next generation of application products. That work included the investigation, design, and implementation of cashiering applications featuring the use of:

* Graphical user interfaces (specifically Microsoft Windows)

* Client / Server systems with Windows based clients and Windows NT, Unix and Novell based servers

* High level languages and tool sets (Microsoft Visual Basic, Omnis)

* Relational database management systems design and usage (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Access, Sybase and others)

* Graphical reporting systems

Systems Concepts continues to update their base products by incorporating the latest technology in terms of development tools, databases, communications, and hardware / software technological advances. Also, Systems Concepts strives to listen to new and existing customers and address their particular needs by providing ideas and software solutions to meet those needs. Those ideas and solutions have become new features and functions of Systems Concepts' ever-growing and expanding products.
