College football is my favorite sport, and those wonderful Saturdays in the fall are my favorite times of the year. This section of my website will be dedicated to the sport of college football, and in particular the exploits (of lack thereof) of my favorite team, the University of Houston Cougars.

Screwed and Shafted - Almost every year, a handful of deserving teams are left out of a postseason bowl game. In 2006, however, every bowl-eligible team went to a bowl, so no schools were screwed or shafted. Is this a sign of things to come?
Houston football attendance - The Cougars have a hard time attracting fans. But over the last couple of decades they also have a hard time being consistent winners. Could those two issues be related?

The photograph is of a couple of Frontiersmen celebrating a Cougar touchdown during the Bayou Bucket game at Rice in September of 2000. Rice eventually won the game, however.
