Kirby's first half-year of life included his first Christmas and his first snowfall.
Four-month-old Kirby shows his support for his mommy's alma mater at a UNT bowl-watching party in mid-December. He does not, however, appear to be too impressed with the Mean Green's 10-31 loss to Southern Mississippi in the New Orleans Bowl.
It's Christmas Eve, and Kirby and his mommy
are bundled up against the cold - and the snow! This picture was taken
during a break in the flurries; however...
...later that evening the snowfall would intensify and accumulate. It would stick around until the morning, resulting in the first White Christmas in Houston's recorded history.
It's Christmas Day, and both Kirby
and his dad relax at Lori's parents' house. Don't we look excited?! The wooden box on the table
behind us contains the cremains of Cash. I miss that dog.
Look, everybody! I can touch my toes!
A six-month-old Kirby models some new overalls. Kirby is growing so quickly that he does well to wear an outfit once or twice before it becomes too small for him.
