Kirby through Eighteen Months

Time for more pictures!

A portrait of a toddler. He's probably wondering why mommy and daddy keep taking so many pictures of him.

With the return of fall came the return of football and tailgating season. Here, Kirby and his grandmother sit in the Robertson Stadium parking lot, awaiting the kickoff of another Cougar game. The Coogs did slightly better in 2005 than they did the previous year, notching a 6-5 record and going to a bowl game.

A tired Kirby naps while he and his mommy ride the Farris wheel on Chicago's Navy Pier. Kirby, Lori and Lorena went to Chicago for a weekend in October: it was Kirby's first airplane ride and his first trip outside of Texas. Kirby's Daddy didn't make the trip; he was on a trip of his own at the time. Judging from this picture, the Windy City just didn't impress Kirby all that much...

Here is Kirby, on the platform in the center, among a bunch of other kids at the Chicago Children's Museum. All of these children are Kirby's age; most were born in Septemer of 2004.

Halloween again. Look at the little devil...

It's a chilly December evening, and Kirby and his mommy are enjoying the Christmas lights at Hermann Park.

Kirby likes to sit on daddy's shoulders. Shortly after this picture was taken in early January 2006, Kirby would bid farewell to his father for a couple of weeks as daddy went on a business trip to Dubai.
