Thomas & Lori's Wedding

Saturday, July 5, 2003, at the Historic Heights Fire Station and City Hall, Houston, Texas.

Wedding rehearsal at the Spaghetti Warehouse, July 4, 2003.

Rehearsal dinner at the Spaghetti Warehouse, July 4, 2003. After dinner many of us walked a few blocks over to see a spectacular fireworks show.

My best friend Randy drove in from Oklahoma City to be part of my wedding. Here we are at the bar of the Magnolia Hotel on the night of July 4, 2003.

My brother David flew all the way from Prague, Czech Republic, to be the best man at my wedding. Here we are drinking Guinness at Slainte Pub on Main Street on the wee hours of July 5th. I guess this was my bachelor party.

The upstairs of the Heights fire station was able to accomodate all of our guests, which had been a concern of ours - we never imagined that so many people would come to our wedding! (photo: Jim Sage Photography)

Lori's brother Danny, left, and Randy Gilley before the ceremony.

Members of the Gray family await the ceremony. From left to right, uncle John Gray, cousin Andy Gray, cousin Amanda Gray, aunt Sheila Gray, aunt Ruth Gray, cousin Eugene Gray, uncle Wally Gray. John, Sheila, Andy and Amanda live in Nashville. Wally and Ruth live in Dallas, and Eugene is going to school in Denver.

The ceremony was supposed to begin at four, but it was delayed for several minutes because Lori's sister Lorena (the Maid of Honor) got lost on the way to the wedding. Thanks to Carl Flores, in the back, for taping the ceremony. I wish I had a better video camera! (photo: Jim Sage Photography)

After seven years, Lori and I finally become husband and wife.

Our wedding cake was beautiful. It's too bad we had to cut it, but people were getting hungry.

The chocolate fountain was a huge hit! All the strawberries we had cut up for people to dip in the flowing chocolate were gone in a matter of minutes!

Everybody seemed to have a great time at our wedding. Thanks to everybody who came! (photo: Jim Sage Photography)

Preparing for this wedding was a lot of fun, but it was also very exhausting! Good thing we're only going to do this once!
