Here's what the late-night comedians have to say about Iraq:

"Yesterday, Saddam Hussein got 100 percent of the vote. Well, that's according to Saddam's campaign manager, Jeb Hussein." -- Jay Leno

"The New York Times is reporting that the Bush administration has a post-war plan to turn Iraq into a democracy. If the plan works it might be tried in Florida." -- Conan O'Brien

Evidently, George Bush's church opposes his war on Iraq, which must create a moral quandary for a devout Christian like our President (from Red Rock Digest):
But the most dramatic intervention comes from President George Bush's own United Methodist church which launched a scathing attack on his plans for war.

Jim Winkler, responsible for the application of the church's teachings to social policy, said war against Iraq was 'without any justification according to the teachings of Christ'.

After careful study of Christian doctrinal writings on Just War, Winkler said he was 'told flatly' by the church's scholars, 'that they simply did not apply to this situation'.
Check out this awesome clock (also from Red Rock Digest).

On Saturday, my girlfriend and I attended an amusing performance of Alan Ayckbourn's play Comic Potential, at the City Lights theater in San Jose. It delved into love, humor, soap operas, and androids, with some choice lines along the way.

I've finally given up on Blogger, after being frustrated with its flakiness for months. For now, I'm manually writing HTML, though at some point I'll write some Java to automate the repetitive tasks.
