EXPERIENCE

InkyDinky Animation Studios, 2000-present.
Concept artist, backgrounds illustrator. Produced designs and artwork for several television, film and direct-to-video clients, including MTV's "Drac City" and "Shi" for Fox Television. Also developed creative material for in-house Internet projects.

Rainbow Media/News12, 1999-2000.
Computer graphics artist. Created on-air illustrations, animations and title graphics for a major broadcast news television station, using Millennium II Digital Systems Composium, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, several PC and Mac-based news/data archival systems (including Associated Press) the Internet and a wide variety of video equipment. Worked closely with art directors, news reporters, directors and producers on key show visual elements and special projects. Also supervised Chyron graphics during live feeds.

Volt Information Sciences, 1994-1998.
Computer graphics artist/graphic designer. Worked with an in-house, IBM-based advertisement production network, composing hundreds of process-color ads for various New York and New England publications. Responsible for creation of illustrations, custom logos and company identities. Also provided creative and technical support for ongoing interactive web-development projects in VRML and Shockwave and for several three-dimensional animations in Lightwave.

Axis, 1993.
Illustrator/designer. Created illustrations, computer layout and type work for an assortment of promotional material, including a four-month color calendar for several Boston clubs.

ARC Computer Graphics Lab, 1990-1993.
Computer lab assistant. Supervised computer graphics lab equipped with several IBM PC, Macintosh, and Silicon Graphics systems. Instructed customers on usage of IBM and Mac graphics, word-processing, page layout and multimedia programs and printer setups, designed informational posters and provided design and technical support for ongoing projects.


EDUCATION

Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY
BFA in computer graphics and communications. 3.0 GPA. Pratt National Talent Search Scholarship winner. Involved with on-campus illustration and comic magazine, Static Fish, organized and participated in first undergraduate computer graphics exhibition, illustration and interactive multimedia exhibitor in 1993 Puck show in NYC. Distinguished Achievement award in computer graphics.

BOCES II Gifted & Talented School of the Arts
Summer program for Long Island students. Involved in television and film production course, worked with video editing systems, produced documentary film on animal trainers.

Bellport High School, Bellport, NY
Regents diploma, 3.0 GPA. Long Island Newsday award-winning illustrator and cartoonist for school newspaper, The Clipper, several school awards for art and creative writing.
