WHAT:The proving ground! This is where the emotional life and ability to practically apply what you have been taught is put to the test. WHEN:WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS LEVEL?WHAT IS TAUGHT:
- Thursdays 7:30-9:30 PM
- Body and Voice Technique is optional and cash & carry two Saturday morning per month 10:00-12:00.
- Physical and Vocal Warm-up Process
- Improvisation for rehearsal techniques and in auditions
- Living Believably in the moment
- Script comprehension and in depth analysis
- Competitive Monologues that get you represented
- On Camera Auditioning Skills
- Industry Planning
- Technique and Craft that can be translated throughout the mediums, stage to screen
- Commercials / Improv and Scripted
Actors who have had some previous training and/or experience who may have a working knowledge of technique and terminology, but may now be embarking on a greater understanding and in depth application of the skills to produce real moments and believable characters. Actors who may be ready to begin being seen by the industry and need the guidance to set it all in motion, or have put themselves out in the industry and may not be seeing the results yet and need to re-visit their plan and abilities. Actors who are looking for a challenge and to be taken past their personal expectations of themselves.
COMMITMENT: Month-to-month. Four classes per month.
FEE: $90.00 per month
CLASS SIZE: Limited to 12 students per Group.
YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS LEVEL:
- You will work on camera
- Students do more on their feet than in their seats.
- A professional and traditional acting school that encompasses all of our programs at all levels.
- To work with material from recent films, TV shows and commercials, as well as use material from challenging plays.
- To work towards moving up to Master Class.
- A plan to get you to the next level and get your career started.
- In depth rehearsal techniques and personal process and approach.
- Work on expanding your emotional range and availability.
- Clearly seeing what you need to bring to auditions that will get you called back.
- Clean up your habits and other approaches that may be getting in your way of success.
- An all school, all levels, Master Class with studio Director Lisina Longo every other month.
