23 - Fall Flock
Our annual Fall Flock will be held on Sunday, this year. We'll
begin with a bird walk in Shelby Park, go to the Bottoms, followed by a
picnic lunch.
Meet at the Community Center parking lot on Mission Hill (see directions and map) at 7:00 a.m. for the
walk. Lunch will be about
11:00 a.m. at Lakeside Picnic Shelter #1, near Lake Sevier in Shelby
Park
September 29 - Harpeth River and Cumberland River Greenways
Meet at the Warner Park
Nature Center on Hwy 100 at 7:00 A.M. and we'll carpool from there.
October 6 - Fall Count
Contact Jan Shaw to join a
route. Compilation will take place that night at
7:30 at Jan Shaw's home.
October 13 - Richland Creek Greenway
Meet at the parking lot for the
trailhead on White Bridge Rd. at 7:00 A.M. From the intersection
of Harding Road (i.e. West End Avenue past St. Thomas Avenue) and White
Bridge Rd. go west on White Bridge Rd. Just over the bridge, the
parking lot is on the right and there is a big white sign saying
Richland Creek Greenway
