COMMUNITY SERVICES

The patriotic, humanitarian service is carried on through the work of committees functioning on a wide scale, national, state and local, in such fields of public service as Safety, Welfare, and Community Services. Work on these committees is truly a worthwhile civic endeavor.

Its Child Accident Prevention Program, now in its forty-second year, has developed an outstanding accomplishment which has received the commendation of the governors of many states as well as the officials of many cities.

Its Scholarship Trust for the Deaf and Near-Deaf helps hearing impaired children, and others needing charitable assistance, to receive medical, mechanical, or specialized treatment, or special education.

Service on these committees affords the members an opportunity to serve and to actively support the altruistic ideals and principles which have made our nation more blessed and successful than any in the long history of mankind.
