TP provides a comprehensive quality monitoring program to truss fabricators. This program places special emphasis on "in-plant" quality and process controls to assure that the finished products meet industry recognized standards. The effectiveness of the "in-plant" quality program is verified with unannounced inspections by TP personnel.
TP's Truss Program is accepted under the three national building codes as well as in local areas where special requirements on truss inspections are enforced, such as Houston, Texas and South Florida. Unless local requirements specify otherwise, truss plants participating in the TP Quality Monitoring Program identify their products by applying a TP truss quality audited stamp.
TP also offers independent truss inspection on individual projects requiring certificates. All accepted material is identified by a TP inspector and, upon completion of the project, a cerfificate of continuous inspection is issued.If your project requires factory built trusses, specify Timber Products Inspection to assure that your designs and specifications are met.
