Chuck GoodrumThe purpose of the Association is to strengthen resident friendships, promote aviation education, safety, and security, establish liaison to the airport authority and management, and foster a good-neighbor relationship with the surrounding non-aviation community. The Association is composed of resident pilots, instructors, mechanics, technicians, fixed base operators, students, and other supporters of the publicly owned and operated Tom B David Airport, which is located in Northwest Georgia in the City of Calhoun in Gordon County.
General membership meetings are held on the third Tuesday of January, March, May, July, September, and November, or as scheduled.An Internet Discussion List is maintained to enhanced communication among members.
The annual Airport Good Neighbor/Open House/Fly-in Day scheduled for September 15 is on hold.
