This is another shot of Will's bedroom with the ventilator, feeding pump, and medications in the background. We often joked that our basement looked like a black market medical supply warehouse.

Unfortunately, Will's health quickly deteriorated in October 1995. He suffered a chylothorax which lead to the discovery of his kidney problem and the realization that he was again in need of heart surgery. Within six weeks of his discharge, he was back in the PICU.
