Heart repair in Boston

Will awaits with plane tickets to return home from Boston and with a new lease on life. For the first time since he was two months old, we could pick up Will without him being attached to any equipment. We arrived home three days before Christmas.

While Will's heart was repaired in Boston, he still suffers numerous medical complications. These include respiratory damage, craniosynostosis, malformed hip, malformed hand, and numerous developmental delays. As a result, he has undergone four more surgeries and been hospitalized approximately one dozen times since his heart repair. He is had  another orthopedic surgery in January 1999 and may have to undergo cardiac surgery the following month.
