Seems to be the big question with everyone we know. In June 2000, my younger sister, Melissa, went to Michigan on a summer mission trip to work with disadvantaged youth. The sponsoring church for the missionaries and the work just happened to be the one Stephen was attending. During that time, Stephen befriended Melissa and they stayed in touch. On Mother's Day weekend 2001, Melissa e-mailed Stephen to tell him that her sister was coming in the area for a visit and wanted to know if he would go out with her. He agreed and on May 15, 2001 we started talking and haven't shut up ever since. On June 2, 2001 we went out on our first date and been together from that day on...

Future Plans:
If all goes according to plans, I will be teaching next year. I am about to be certified to teach in the state of Alabama and am working on being certified in Mississippi and Tennessee. Currently, I am substituting in the Florence City Schools.
Stephen and I are waiting a year or two before we think about having children, just hoping to get settled in here and adjusting to our new life together.
