

The Auchumkee Creek Covered Bridge was originally built in 1892. This bridge was destroyed by flood in 1994, and rebuilt using as much of the original material as possible, to look as much like the original as possible. The bridge is 96 feet in length.

The Coheelee Creek Covered Bridge is the southernmost covered bridge in the USA. It has a length of 96 feet. The bridge is located about 10 miles west of Blakely, GA.

This bridge is located about 6 miles East of Helen, GA, near the community of Sautee. It is a very short bridge, as you can see in the photo, over the small Chickamauga Creek. The original bridge was washed away in 1895, and replaced by the current one. It is blocked off from vehicular traffic.

This bridge is located about 2 miles East of Lula, GA, off GA Hwy 51. It No longer carries traffic, and, since the road has been moved, is actually on "posted" private land. This photo was taken from Antioch Road at a distance of perhaps 30 yards.
