Oconoluftee River above Cherokee, NC in the Smoky Mountain National Park. A crisp fall day.

 

Mingus Mill, just inside the entrance to the Smoky Mountain National Park. This mill is kept in operation to this day. Notice the smoke coming from the stovepipe near the front door.

View across Cade's Cove, near Townsend, TN. This is perhaps one of the most beautiful areas in the country, particularly in the fall.
