Just as the school year is drawing to a close Cynthia is seen here performing at Harriet Tubman Elementary School in Fulton County. A selected few students were chosen from the actual audience of about 250 students for this photo session.

The 2006-07 season has been a busy one with numerous school performances in Fulton County and the Muscogee school system in Columbus, Georgia, Library performances through out the state, a special show at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport and a Community Festival in Georgetown, Georgia as well as a workshop presented at the National Black Arts Festival.
With Summer just about here look for Cynthia at Summer Camps, Public Libraries, Family Reunions and a new Festival in Cuthbert, Georgia celebrating the life of Fletcher Henderson a world renowned jazz musician from the 1930's -1960's known for his work as a arranger for Benny Goodman and Duke Ellington.

Cynthia's application with Georgia Council for the Arts was renewed for the next 3 years. Arts organizations that wish to present Cynthia in concert or for workshps in their community may be able to qualify for financial support from the Council.

November may seem a ways off, however, Kuumba, the Black Storytelling Association of Metro Atlanta will join with the National Black Storytelling Association to presentation a national conference here in Atlanta November 14-18 at the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel.
