                  Adams Lanier III was born in Tyrell County, North Carolina and died in Madison County,
                    Alabama.  A marker "In Memory of..." was placed in the Cedar Grove Cemetery on October
                    of 1998 by LHH fjor Adams and Elizabeth Lanier.  Adams had a light complexion, blue eyes,
                    blonde hair, and was 6 feet in height.  He was a farmer.
