"Dr.
Woodford has done chemical analysis at Scotland Yard,
the U.S. Army Forensic Testing Lab in Wiesbaden, Germany,
and state crime labs all over the country. He is also
a certified expert in infrared breath-alcohol testing,
holds a certificate in field sobriety testing from
the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration,
is the author of numerous published peer-reviewed
articles, and has testified as an expert witness in
many civil and criminal cases. His testimony last
year in U.S. v. Davis,
864 FSupp 1303 (NDGa 1994), is often cited in support
of parity of punishments for cocaine and crack. An
expert in aroma chemistry, Woodford holds the U.S.
patent on the synthesis for the odor of cocaine, which
is used as the standard in drug detection dog training
and proficiency testing."
