Dialogue 1 October 20, 2001 Valendra: Hail, BishopAlexander; welcome to the Temple of Enid. BishopAlexander: I thank you. BishopAlexander prays. BishopAlexander: Many days I have traveled to this place. I must rest. poof top Dialogue 2 November 6, 2001 BishopAlexander had very low HP when he first logged on. Elmer: Hail BishopAlexander Morningdove: Hail BishopAlexander BishopAlexander: The rebirth is complete. Greetings to you all. Many things will come to be told unto you all. BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander: It is well to be in her service. It is well to meet you all. BishopAlexander shakes your hands. BishopAlexander: Many troubles have been in the lands for a great time. Elmer: Bishop, I have a gift of Enid, I would like to give it to you, if that is permitted? BishopAlexander: Do as you wish but gifts are not required. Are each of you well this day? AdamZ: Aye, Very well indeed thank you. BishopAlexander smiles. AdamZ: How do you fair this day Bishop? BishopAlexander: I am well, I thank you for asking. Elmer: Bishop, I am troubled for my Friends of the Dark, they still await the Voice of the Dark one. BishopAlexander: The goddess speaks of many things that come in the days ahead. Their answer may be within. It is well to see the mark of the goddess upon your heads. I trust that the blessing has ran out on the others with no mark? Truest smiles. BishopAlexander grins. Elmer: Wisdom, the one sent by Elphame is taking a count, I awaited her to add to her tally. BishopAlexander nods. Arinne: Hail, BishopAlexander! BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander: Hail to you child. Arinne: It is wonderful to see you here and well, Bishop. BishopAlexander: It is well that you have come to this place. AdamZ: Bishop, I believe Light has something that belongs to you. BishopAlexander nods. AdamZ: She rests I believe. BishopAlexander nods at AdamZ. AdamZ: That is how we knew you were coming Bishop, when Light said the dreams return. BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander: But I fear the dreams are not as she wishes them to be. She sees what is sent to her in dreams. Child of light wake, the time has come. Child of light, wake! Light Arrives Light giggles. BishopAlexander: My child of light the rebirth is complete. Light nods. Light giggles. BishopAlexander: Behold the mark. BishopAlexander places the Bishop's Hat on his head BishopAlexander: Rest now child. Light leaves BishopAlexander prays to Enid. Elmer: Bishop, Light had tasked one of the Balance to aid in finding the new voice for the Dark, but she had no way to recognize whom would come. TopGun4: May you help us Bishop BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: In the days to come much will be told. The rebirth is still fresh upon my soul. The colors of travel must be shed to make way for the colors of light. Seek out and bring unto me dye of white. A few people TP'd to town to get White Dye BishopAlexander looks around the temple with great pride. Elmer: Bishop, would you care for my robe? It is not much, but it is the right color. BishopAlexander: I thank you. BishopAlexander smiles. Arinne: Bishop, do you need food or water? BishopAlexander: I do not, but I thank you. When I wish to visit with you I shall remove the mark from upon my head. When I wish to bring you word from the goddess the mark shall be worn. AdamZ: Is there anything you wish this day Bishop? BishopAlexander: I wish to hear of each of you. Arinne: We have many worries, Bishop... BishopAlexander: Speak to me about your worries. Elmer: Bishop, I worry for those of the Dark Temple, Lavonna had said that they would have word of his will soon....that was over 3 weeks ago... Arinne: Dear Bishop, many of our minds are preoccupied with worry for those of the Dark Temple, and the strife therein. BishopAlexander: The dark one will not remain silent for long. The heavens tell of this. Truest: I worry for Light. Because Defar took Wary's body. Light could be tricked. BishopAlexander: In a dream I shall send word to Light, because of your concern. Elmer: I also worry that Newcomer may have been the one who caused to have Mabon Exiled into the Mists. Bishop, we have been oft told that we will need the aid of all the gods, will we be able to rescue Mabon? His help would also be needed. BishopAlexander: In times to come we may be able to save him from the mists. Elmer: Bishop, Providing I survive what comes to that point, I would like to offer my poor aid if it is needed. TopGun4: I will offer my life, soul, and body to Enid BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: As will I. A great story I have to tell. I worked in the woods to gather items of need when I heard a faint voice. Of what it said I could not tell. Later that night as I sat to dinner a small mouse came upon my table seeking food. Upon sharing my food the mouse melted away to reveal the goddess Enid herself! She spoke of the day and how she had watched my tasks. It was on this day that my future was planned. And here I am with you now. Elmer chuckles, would I were so blessed to have such a mouse. BishopAlexander nods. Elmer: Praise be Enid !! BishopAlexander: Yes, Praise be to Enid! BishopAlexander says 'Domnixali vescance ahrwihn!', pointing at HotToddy. HotToddy smiles. Elmer says 'Domni vescance!', pointing at Fleurs. BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander: My aim is not as it once was. Arinne smiles at BishopAlexander. BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander speaks about spell casting and pointing at the wrong people. Fleurs looks at the new Bishop BishopAlexander looks back at Fleurs. BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander: Welcome dark one. Arinne: So how's Newcomer, Fleurs? BishopAlexander whispers..."The people of the dark should not branch from that which shall save them." Fleurs whispers back...maybe not...but unlike the light...we have no guidance but our own BishopAlexander: In time, in days, the correction shall be made. The heavens tell of this. TopGun4: Fleurs maybe the guidance of Duach is lost by your love for Newcomer... BishopAlexander listens. BishopAlexander: The thunder that has been heard for some time grows close. Elmer: Bishop, we have seen signs and portents BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: Let us make our way to the city of healing. I wish to see of it. BishopAlexander Exits Temple, walks to Enid's Alcove BishopAlexander kisses the statue, bows deeply, and prays to Enid. A great gift this place is. BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander rests. TopGun4: Bishop may your arms and legs rest now on Enid's great mushroom BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander calls out. BishopAlexander: Child of light wake I task thee. AdamZ: Shall we take you to the Temple Bishop? BishopAlexander: She comes to this place. Light returns Light giggles. BishopAlexander whispers. Light nods. Light nods. Light: If it is required I shall do as you wish. BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander: I thank you one of light. Light giggles. BishopAlexander: A task she has been given. I go to rest. Be well. top Dialogue 3 November 16, 2001 Light listens. Light: I hear you. Yes. Light nods. Light: They wish to speak with him. He comes! BishopAlexander: Hello my child of Light. Light giggles! Light nods. Light: I shall. Yes, many have come this day. BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander: Greetings to you all. I have come to visit with you. Darceia: I have waited to meet you Bishop. Pardon my excitement. BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: Welcome into the temple of Enid. Child of light rest, dreams come to you. Light nods. BishopAlexander: You have been told many things in days past. Do you understand all that has come to pass? Elmer: Bishop, Many ask us for a date when the invasion is to begin, I believe it soon, as mortals reckon time. BishopAlexander: As it was spoken by Bishop Edward, if it is spoken of they will learn and change their ways. Elmer: Bishop, I may understand but imperfectly, but I am trying to understand. BishopAlexander nods. LordNatsirt bows before the good Bishop. BishopAlexander bows deeply. BishopAlexander: The child of Light is to be kept safe. Should this gift from Enid fall, another will not come. It is in her gifts that she sends her blessings and protection. Mya: We love Light! BishopAlexander: As do I. FrostFlower: What can we all do? BishopAlexander: Seek word from the gods as you do now. In the words I bring to you, there will be warnings of things to come. These words are spoken by the goddess Enid herself. And to you I shall bring them. Darceia: How can we prepare? BishopAlexander: Deep in the sands rest many things to test your skills on. Together you should make your way to this place and see what you must still learn. What you will find deep in the sands is only part of the power of what is to come. Elmer: Bishop, Herald has told us in the past that there might not be word given before the nature of the beast shift out in the Deep Desert. BishopAlexander: You speak true Elmer. Unto you the goddess will come in your time of need. Have you any questions? Abrams: Yes, when shall we get new weapons? BishopAlexander: Abrams, the workings you speak of are only known by the god who will give them. Should he speak of it to Enid and she unto me I will share with you. Mya: How do we fight against the beasts? How will we know if it is them? BishopAlexander: Mya, you will know of the beasts, it is nothing that has been seen before in this land. LordNatsirt: Bishop, if I may, many of the beasts in the Deep Desert are similar to those found throughout the land. BishopAlexander: LordNatsirt this is known. YiraDR: BishopAlexander, I am YiraDR of the Balance, can you speak of what else is in the sands ? BishopAlexander: YiraDR, Enid has yet to give me the information you seek. LordNatsirt: Are all the beasts in the Desert of the Mists or are some just normal critters? BishopAlexander: LordNatsirt it is nothing that you have seen in your time within this land. PrincessStarr: Have you seen them Bishop? BishopAlexander: I have seen of them, by visions sent from the goddess. In time, when you are ready, I will share with you. My time with you has come to an end, the goddess calls. Be well this and all days. BishopAlexander walks around shaking hands. BishopAlexander: Unto Enid! top Dialogue 4 November 25, 2001 BishopAlexander smiles BishopAlexander hums an evocation BishopAlexander: Please stand in good order within the Temple of Light. Please stand not within the area of the altar. Thank you. Come into the Light and behold where grace smiles her blessing warmth. Let us pray. I seek my place. By the light in the forest show me the way that I may stand in harmony with those who call to you and together brace our sanctuary against the fires and stones cast upon us from the mists. May the faeries be blessed. In Enid's name. The faithful should answer: In Enid's name BishopAlexander smiles those present spoke "In Enid's name" BishopAlexander: How often have we heard these words? "May the faeries be blessed". Cyranos: Bishop, Seek you the Tavern "Light in the Forest" in Wen? BishopAlexander: Please, do not speak during the sermon. There will be time to make your inquires later. How often have we heard these words? "May the faeries be blessed". Perhaps some of you have even spoken them yourself. We say: "In Enid's name, may the faeries be blessed." But how often do we stop to consider what these words really mean? Is it some mere evocation meant to bring good fortune to our friends of the wood? Surely it is, at least, that. But if we look deeper, we find ourselves presented with a question: "Why do we seek Enid's blessings for creatures marked by birth with Enid's light?" Surely it is not they, but we, who are in need of the Grace of the Light. Is it not we, the three tribes of mortals, who toil under the burdens of growth and defense. Growth of self. Growth of our brethren. Growth of our ability to defend our lands against the flaming cauldron of conquest. Surely it is we, more than those blessed by birth, who cry out in justice for some sign of aid. Some morsel of Grace from the table of Light. So why then do we ask, in Enid's name, for the faeries to receive those blessings we so sorely need ourselves? I do not think it a great mystery. For it is the heart of Light to desire above all else. The well-being and fulfillment of our brethren. And as we pray for them, so too do they pray for us, so that rather than a lone voice asking for a blessing to serve ourselves, we are served by a chorus of voices who sing our praises and bring forth unto us selfless blessings. Blessing that are our Goddess's greatest gift. That we pray for the faeries to be blessed even while they live their lives in a blessed state is not, I think, a great mystery. For in seeking the blessing of Enid's favored our attention is brought upon them and focused on those faery traits which so warm the eye of Light. We say "Let the faeries be blessed" so that we too may be blessed. So that we too will learn what favors the Light. What forms of behavior, what traits of character, what qualities of soul, lead us down the path of Light. If the faeries are favored, if we wish to likewise be so blessed, should we not seek to emulate the faeries? should we not give without hope of receiving? Smile in the face of adversity? Stand in good cheer before the mockers and betrayers? Should we not aid both friend and stranger? Even though the cost may be our lives? Spend our days seeking good turns we can do for others? Are these not the ways of the faeries? Are these not the ways of Enid's favored race? "Let the faeries be blessed. In Enid's name." BishopAlexander smiles. BishopAlexander: Will you speak with me this day? Please... Darceia: Just trying to keep up with you Bishop, you talk faster than I do. BishopAlexander: Prepared texts help. BishopAlexander smiles Cyranos: Bishop, I would bless the faeries also for the good work that they do for those who live in the lands. Bishop, but earlier did you inquire for the way to the Tavern "Light in the Forest" in Wen? BishopAlexander: May Enid smile upon you Cyranos. I hope todays sermon will be considered and given thought. I did not inquire Cyranos, it was a prayer. Cyranos: Bishop, she smiles upon all of us everyday, with her magnificent works. BishopAlexander: But for those that seek the Path of Light...it is shown them. Follow the faeries. Flamewolf: Do you mean the example they set? BishopAlexander: I do. Following them through the woods would surely lead one no where in particular. Who can know where and why a faery travels as she does. Truest: Hail BishopAlexander. BishopAlexander: Welcome to the Temple of Light Truest. Cyranos: Bishop, if it is closer to the way Enid wishes us to be, is it not a worthy trip, even so? BishopAlexander: The path of physical travel is not the point Cyranos. It is the heart, the soul, the quality of character that matters. In this, I say to you, follow the ways of the faery. Please do not stand in the area of the altar. Let the faithful stand in good order within the House of Light. BishopAlexander smiles at the offering BishopAlexander: Is there any more you would speak with me about? Darceia: Not much going on now...been training mostly. BishopAlexander: It is well that you do so. Darceia: How is Nasalva? We heard she was sick. BishopAlexander: I know little of the witch. Cyranos: Bishop, I know it is not your province, but we grow concerned for our brothers and sisters of the dark, long has been the wait for their new messenger. Truest: Do you know of the Dark Herald? Why does he not show? BishopAlexander: The Dark Prophet has recently been reborn. Give him time to rest, to prepare. He shall come, the turmoil has past. Let the time of rest and remembrance be fulfilled. And remember also...BishopAlexander smiles broadly... May the faeries be blessed, in Enid's name. poof top Dialogue 5 January 3, 2002 BishopAlexander bows deeply. BishopAlexander prays to Enid. TopGun4: Bishop, what task have you been set? BishopAlexander: Many tasks I have toiled over. In time you shall see of them. Until then they must not be spoken of. AdamZ: Is Enid pleased with her people? BishopAlexander: The goddess is very pleased in her people. Have faith, the hand is unseen, but is there. You long for word, I can see this upon your face. In time. Rush not the word from the goddess. When there is word, I shall come to you. AdamZ: But we shall wait as long as is needed. BishopAlexander: In this day I have come to complete a task for our goddess. The child of Light is ill, I have come to complete her tasks this day. She will not expire from this. Worry not. My tasks with the goddess are many. Would you, the followers of Enid, complete the tasks of Light? AdamZ: Yes. Cyranos: Bishop, insofar as we are able. BishopAlexander: Search and give aid. Request no gain for your deeds. Ladrie: We try to follow Light's examples daily, Bishop, in aiding new ones to the lands. We shall continue to do so, as Light has shown us. BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: The child passed to you the request from the goddess, correct? AdamZ: I am unsure as to the request Bishop. Ladrie: Which request, Bishop? To give aid to those who need? BishopAlexander: The goddess requests that gifts of life be placed upon the temple grounds. Ladrie: She has passed that to us, yes. Cyranos: Bishop, we are unsure of what a gift of Life may mean. BishopAlexander: My son what does it mean to you? Cyranos: To me, it implies one should lay down his life for Enid, perhaps? BishopAlexander: Then for you this is the meaning. Life rests in and from many things. In this thought you shall find your gift. Kayo: Excuse me? BishopAlexander: Do you wish to speak? Kayo: yes BishopAlexander: Then please share your word. Kayo: I wish to become a great warrior or hero if you like, not for greed not for power, but to help. Is there a way I can be granted such power to do such actions? BishopAlexander: If you request divine power there is nothing that I may do. Kayo: I do not request devine power. Just a point in the right direction. I have been taught by my master for many days now. I'm going to start a quest. One that will take me all over Realm. BishopAlexander: There are many that stand in this alcove that will give help to you, if only you would ask. In your haste do not over look what you have already become. Kayo: May I tell you all of my master? My master Jarmer, tis a noble fighter and knows not of pain and anguish. He has taught me the ways of life and the gods, for when I first stepped into this realm I was confused. But he lifted the myst and showed me my path. And you see great bishop, I need to be pointed in the right direction by the gods. All these noble people are great friends and have great knowledge, but I seek it from the gods. BishopAlexander: The gods walk the lands. In the form of mortals. Seek and learn from all and you may find what it is you search for. AdamZ: I am going to go give aid. I hope to see you soon Bishop. BishopAlexander nods at AdamZ. BishopAlexander: Dark ones. RubberDuckie: Yes? RainbowWarrior: Yes, Bishop. DaRKsMinion: yes? Zinon: Yes? BishopAlexander: I am pleased by you this day. In good order you stand in the house of another god. It is noted. Great honor you show. BishopAlexander smiles. Gruumsh: Thank you, Bishop. BishopAlexander prays to Enid. BishopAlexander: I must return soon. TopGun4: Of course Bishop, but Light is ill. Will she be well soon do you know Bishop? BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: This day as I stand and speak to you the goddess walks the lands. TopGun4: She is here now? BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: She walks the lands. I must take leave of you. BishopAlexander bows deeply. BishopAlexander: Praise the great and holy name of Enid! top Dialogue 6 January 11, 2002 BishopAlexander: Hear me. The goddess is concerned with the lost gift. It has not passed into the gates of death. It survives in the mists. She is the last of the living gifts. Pray for her safety. As the unseen hand reached into the lands to remove our precious gift it left a mark. A token of unusual sort. BishopAlexander looks around the temple. BishopAlexander smells a stench in the air. BishopAlexander: They fill the land as we speak. I must return to the goddess at this time. Know this, Until the time the gift can be saved you must continue the works of Light to please the goddess. Unto Enid. top Dialogue 7 January 21, 2001 BishopAlexander prays to Enid. BishopAlexander: The goddess hears the thoughts of the gift. Truest: Is Light okay? I pray for her. We are so worried. BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: But afraid. Truest: Understandable. BishopAlexander: She is lost. Near the edge of the mists she remains. Truest: Can Enid help her find the way back? BishopAlexander: There may be a way. The goddess makes plans. When they are ready I shall bring the word to you. Truest: What can we do until that time? THEGOD: Bishop... If I may... You seem somewhat different today BishopAlexander nods. RubberDuckie: Your beard has darkened, sir THEGOD: are you ill? BishopAlexander: Time has placed its mark upon me. RubberDuckie: As I thought. It must be difficult bringing word from the goddess BishopAlexander nods at RubberDuckie. (after little bit of talking Bishop took his hat off) BishopAlexander: Word will come in days time. In the temple you shall wait. I go to complete the tasks sent by the goddess. he put his hat back on BishopAlexander: The word of the goddess comes to this temple from time to time. If there are none in this place to hear of the word it is not spoken. Many times the goddess, in mortal form, has come to this place. She spoke unto none because the temple was empty. Truest: Sometimes we are training for what is to come with the invasion. I try to be here.. but sometimes I can't. BishopAlexander: It is told in the heavens of the same for all temples. You have stood in wait for a time with no word. During this time you should come to understand what has been spoken of in the past. In the written word rests many things. You need only read of them to understand. You seek a way to free the gift. The goddess makes plans for this. Truest: I will do whatever is needed of me to do. BishopAlexander: In time you shall come to understand and divine intervention shall take place. Have faith. The goddess hears your prayers and understands your struggle. In the days to come the goddess shall task you in thought. On the following of that day answers shall be required. Mark well and remember, should this temple stand empty the message shall be lost. BishopAlexander prays to Enid. top Dialogue 8 January 26, 2002 BishopAlexander: How fares the Followers of Light? TopGun4: we are well BishopAlexander nods BishopAlexander: Yet there is danger growing around us all. Have you met the creatures from the Mists? Arinne: Many of us have seen them, Bishop. THEGOD: I have rid this world of 3 of them bishop RainbowWarrior: I have slain 1, Bishop. The Beasts seem drawn to this temple, Bishop. BishopAlexander: Even those who follow the Goddess of Peace and Love must be prepared to wield the sword. TopGun4: we shall, but if there is another way Bishop... Morrigann: my sword is ready... Morrigann: We call to Light with not luck... BishopAlexander: Do not despair in the quest for Light. Continue to call. In time, she may find her way through your grace. Arinne: We will continue. TopGun4: We are having a mass gathering tonight Bishop THEGOD: Why do they seek out the town of silver? BishopAlexander: Perhaps because the village of silver is close to the Mists? TopGun4: Bishop the Watchers said Wen was a target, should we also defend this well BishopAlexander: No ground should be left unguarded, left to fall prey to the vileness which gathers against us. RainbowWarrior: Herald has told us this day that we may see items drop from the Beasts, and to keep them dear. Can you tell us what the nature of the things that will drop? BishopAlexander: I can only guess RW. I would guess they would be tokens from the Mists A prayer was heard recently and though not meant for our Lady of Light was passed among the gods. It was a small wish. A wish for comfort. I am told to say, it shall be done Arinne: Can you say who the prayer was from, Bishop? BishopAlexander: I was not told. It involved a temple not yet active. It was a small wish I have been sent this day to prepare you. Long have we waited. As has been foretold, New armors of power are in the making. Watch for them. The time grows ever near. And once they come...do not count yet count them for there will be more. That is the message I was sent today to speak Would any of you speak with me awhile? SPAINYORD: Bishop how do you become a realm team player?? BishopAlexander: By finding those in need of your services and offering them without expectation of reward. There are many in the lands who have need of a strong arm and a kind heart. Arinne: Bishop, do you think Light will be able to give us any indication that she hears us calling her? BishopAlexander: As she grows nearer the boundary, perhaps her voice may again be heard. TopGun4: Bishop, do you think she is alright? THEGOD: Can Light be saved before the mist falls and we are covered in Beast?... maybe she can tell us of what she saw there.... BishopAlexander: I do not know. I know she lives. But I fear for her. RainbowWarrior: Do you know if there are any beasts close? BishopAlexander: I do not know if any of the creatures from the Mists are near. It is a mortal task to seek them out and defend the Realm. LordNatsirt: Bishop, the dark voice has changed his appearance and lost the mark. Should we read anything into this? BishopAlexander: Read only into the change in the Dark prophet that he has changed his face and in so doing lost his mark. It shall be returned to him in Duach's time. RainbowWarrior: I could not bare the loss of another prophet. BishopAlexander: I can say with assurance.. the Dark Prophet who appeared last eve was the true prophet. But....I fear for the followers of Darkness. RainbowWarrior: Why is that? Zinon: why Bishop? BishopAlexander: For they may have angered their prophet... he is one of little patience. Morrigann: We will help protect those of the Dark Following, Bishop.. we are all in this together. BishopAlexander smiles THEGOD: Was not those of dark but others who came to the temple. BishopAlexander: Yes... perhaps he will not confuse the true believers with the boisterous crowd THEGOD: The Dark should not be punished for things out of their control BishopAlexander: I fear I cannot long remain here this eve. There is much to be done. LordNatsirt thinks about the last time a Bishop travelled to Duachs... RainbowWarrior: Come on Bishop, the Temple is wonderful this time of year, or will that be considered heresy? BishopAlexander: I do believe my place is with my Lady of Light, but I thank you for your... kind... offer Valanthe: Well...those of the dark who were in the temple were TRUE believers...we were RUDELY interrupted by ignorant children...It is truly sad if our own prophet would be angered over something so petty... LordNatsirt: He will remove the life of the offenders, if the lord Duach allows him. BishopAlexander: If it be Duach's will. The gods are mightily protective of the mortals however. TopGun4: If someone came in here now and annoyed you Bishop, would you be angry with myself and AdamZ? BishopAlexander: I do not get angry TopGun. But I am not of the Dark. TopGun4: I was using you as an example BishopAlexander smiles AdamZ: Hail to you SirBenny BishopAlexander: Welcome to the Temple of Light RubbieDucker: They're not very talkative BishopAlexander: Silence can sometimes speak loudly I must return to my prayers. Seek the beasts. Destroy them. Regardless of which temple you follow. Do not give them a moment's peace, lest they learn too much. Until next time, fare thee most well my beloved friends top Dialogue 9 January 30, 2002 BishopAlexander: The Scribe was sent to bring these books to them. It was not known by others so there was no fear of being taken. A secret shipment of wisdom it was. Virulent: Foolishness! BishopAlexander: It was not known that this was to happen. Virulent: The beasts shall learn their secrets BishopAlexander: This is not well. Virulent: The Dark would have guarded such a treasure with their lives! Herald: And now the Hairless Ones of which spoke have the secrets BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: This is true Herald. Virulent: The Hairless Ones.. they come? Herald: They learn as we speak BishopAlexander: It has been seen in the areas of the temple of Enid. Virulent: And it is they who have stolen the books? BishopAlexander nods. Virulent prays to Duach BishopAlexander: It seems they have moved from the temple of Enid back into the mists. It is not known where they shall next show. Virulent: They must be retrieved At all costs. Foolishness. Herald: They must be retrieved lest the beasts learn the gods magic and use it against this land. BishopAlexander: The goddess grows upset with the Scribe, not her people. Virulent: The Hairless Ones are not to be taken lightly DrX: Bishop what shall we do? BishopAlexander: Seek the Hairless Ones and collect the lost books. The books, a gift from the goddess, to the people of this land. It was to be a gift for the return of Light. Virulent: Many lives shall be lost to recover what should not have been so risked in the first place. Retrieve the books! Kill them by whatever means you can. If you can. BishopAlexander: The Scribe has spoken of them. They have grown in great power! Herald: It is said that these beasts have the strength of many - Beware and join together for alone you will surely perish Virulent: Blood shall flow as has never before. Wash your hands in it. Wash your hearts in it. And bring unto to the Hairless Ones the vengeance of the Lord of Darkness! BishopAlexander grimaces. BishopAlexander: The unknown comes to you. Make ready all that you know. Virulent: Dark Ones... you have trained for this day. GO forth and show your steel DrX: Is the Name of BishopEdward WE shall ! Herald: As was said they come from the Mists - but they are not newborns - beware BishopAlexander: The power is great. YiraDR: We shall M'lords in the name of Balance! Terencia: in the name of Enid I will SegFault: I will give my life, in the name of Duach. WarriorGiant: In the name of All the God we shall work together! Virulent: Bishop....I am told to say unto you.. The Lord of Darkness is not pleased BishopAlexander whispers to Virulent and Herald. Virulent nods Virulent: I shall carry the words to my master Herald nods BishopAlexander: A gift this day shall be turned against the people of this land if it is not collected. Virulent: I concur WarriorGiant: Virulent, does Duach have instructions for his followers? Virulent: We of the Dark will join with you of Light and of Balance And fight at your side. And bear the brunt of the blows to come as only the Dark may endure Herald: The time is upon us - You must bring honor to the god you serve Virulent: Do you accept my word to the Light and the Balance Dark Ones? WarriorGiant: We do. We shall ally with them if it is what Duach wants, and it is SegFault: I indeed do Virulent Virulent: Let your steel ring straight and true Herald: Fight with ferocity for they will surely take their toll from you BishopAlexander: You of Light hear my words. Protect those of Dark and Balance by the powers you hold. Give unto them life if it is required. This day you have become one. Virulent: It shall be done Terencia: Bishop, last night, i asked you about Mabon, you said you would find out what you could and let me know when next we met BishopAlexander: Seek and find these gifts from the Goddess Enid then I shall speak to you of other matters. Those of Light into the garden of Enid you shall now walk. Herald: Know this that the Gods of the Land will be close whilst you face this evil. ~then in Enid's Alcove~ BishopAlexander: The Hairless Ones. From him the shipment was taken. By now they have been spread throughout the beasts. Find and destroy the beasts in the new day. Collect the gifts that were meant for the people and not the beasts. Dade: What knowledge did these books contain? If you don't mind me asking? BishopAlexander: The wisdom for the greatest blessing of Enid are contained in the pages of the book. DrX: What shall we do with the books Bishop? if found. BishopAlexander: If found take into memory the pages so that they shall not again be lost. Give unto others this gift if you no longer have need of it so they too may learn. In the days to come it has been told by our goddess they shall walk the lands. You have waited long. Now is the time to pray and make ready for in the new day you shall use all that you have come to know. Antiochus: May I ask question? BishopAlexander: Speak your question. Antiochus: How shall we dispatch them? Crystals?? My wrath?? spells? BishopAlexander: In any way that you can. DrX: Bishop I have but one simple question. If I may BishopAlexander: Speak of it DrX. DrX: What if we do not find the beast ? BishopAlexander: Then the power that is held within the book shall be learned by them all. DrX: We shall not fail then Bishop. BishopAlexander: This day great joy came unto our goddess with the return of her child. From this joy she did dispatch gifts of wisdom for the people. These gifts have been taken. Unto you she gives the order to slay the beasts and save the gifts sent to you all. DrX: My blade is for Enid. BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: Speak of your questions. Vaul: M'lord, I have been unable to find Wisdom, and I am unsure if my name has been given by others. It was written upon a scroll passed among the people. Do you know if it has been seen by Wisdom? BishopAlexander: In this day she shall come to the lands to take that of the count for the final preparation. Make ready to be counted. DrX: If the other groups of the gods Find the Wisdom will it be shared with us ? BishopAlexander: The shipment contained many gifts. There shall be many to be found. DrX: Bishop shall we go hunt this creature now ? BishopAlexander: In the new day the attack of the beasts shall come. Now is the time to make ready. Vaul: Will the beasts be found in the area near the mists m'lord? or have they found other ways into our realm? Antiochus: Yes...Where must we find them? BishopAlexander: They move in the mists and it is unknown where they shall exit from. Be watchful. The goddess calls to me. The plans are made ready. Praise to Enid. BishopAlexander bows deeply. top Dialogue 10 February 6, 2002 BishopAlexander: A conundrum for the faithful. Look to the Large ones for that which you seek. Look to your brothers and sisters for wisdom in 3 parts. Taverns are the place. Lied is what they have done. Read they must top Dialogue 12 February 9, 2002 BishopAlexander: The works of the goddess never end. Messages may come at any time. In this day you have come to see the results of teaching the beasts. What are your thoughts? MorKano: can they learn magic? BishopAlexander: It is yet to be seen MorKano. Stefan: Have not seen with my own eyes, but have Heard. BishopAlexander nods at Stefan. BishopAlexander: What is spoken is of truth. Jher: There were two, fighting beside each other, it proved a great challenge. BishopAlexander: They have grown in great power. Beschattet: Aye, that it did. I fought beside Jher, and witnessed their strength. BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: You now understand your actions cause events. For good and ill. MorKano: is there a way we can influence them for our good? BishopAlexander: There is no way of this MorKano. One mission rests upon their mind, it does not include friendship. They watch. They learn. Beschattet: Bishop... These two being grouped together... Is this a recent change, or was this just an isolated event? Jher: They see us in numbers, they emulate? Beschattet: So they are learning how to fight in groups, thanks to us. BishopAlexander: Do not be quick in your understandings. Take time in your day to learn. Watch. Your tasks grow difficult, this is seen by the goddess. Jher: I pray She is pleased in what She sees. BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: The pleasure of the goddess is high. Death is expected. Speak your thoughts so that you may understand. Beschattet: Bishop, how fares Light? BishopAlexander: The child of light rests. She will return to you in time. Stefan: Death in general, or a specific being? BishopAlexander: The expiration of life is what I speak of Stefan. Beschattet: Being that we of the dark now have a gift of our own, I understand more fully what it must have been to know that she was in danger. BishopAlexander nods at Beschattet. MorKano: Bishop, does Enid care for the people that serve her and those that do not? this question was asked of herald about despothes and there's been some dispute about the gods' feelings towards those that do not serve them. BishopAlexander: The question to ask is what are your thoughts on this matter? MorKano speak your thoughts. MorKano: .... I don't know, that's why I'm asking you.... BishopAlexander: Do you feel the goddess cares for you? Wabishka bows before BishopAlexander. BishopAlexander nods at Wabishka. Wabishka: Bishop Alexander, may I ask a question? BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: Speak. JMagna44: I have a question Bishop if I may? BishopAlexander: You may speak your questions in turn. Wabishka: I know that the Goddess Enid cares for me, I wish to serve her. I am on my way to the deep desert to fight these Servants of the Myst. Is there anything you can tell me to help aid me in my quest to over come them? BishopAlexander: By the unity of others you shall over come them at this time. Be warned, they have grown in power. Citizens of this land have placed items upon the ground for the beast to collect. From this they learn. Your actions in this land, though you may not feel this to be true, bring change for good and ill. DrX: Bishop may I talk ? BishopAlexander: JMagna44 speak your thoughts. JMagna44: As of late I have recieved a Plate of Insulation off of a beasty. Light spoke of Clouds on the ground within the Mist. Is this armor I found possibly of importants for use in the mist, could the white Light spoke of be snow? BishopAlexander: The child spoke of what rests upon the ground and on the edges of this land. It is mist in a broken form. DrX speak your thoughts. DrX: The Servants of the Mists, are still out there. We have slayed them as asked when they first came. They grow stronger now? And harder to Kill. Shall we continue to slay them? BishopAlexander: This is the wish from the goddess. I shall tell you a story. Once a man lived near a river. This river would often flood and destroy his home. One day an idea came to him. He would construct a dam to stop the waters from coming into his home. At the end of the last day of construction it began to rain. The man, happy with his new feeling of protection, went into his home to rest. While he slept the waters filled the river. The water began to leak from the dam. A friend passing by saw this and ran to wake the man. Together they began to patch the dam to save the mans home. The waters became stronger and the river swift. More help was required if the man was to save his home. If no one would help the dam would break and cause his home to be destroyed. Who would help him? BishopAlexander looks around. YiraDR: his family, friends? DrX: hypethetically speaking I would BishopAlexander nods. Jher: Those down the river. MorKano: but what would happen if the river were to become too strong for all of the people? Goral: The man's time was better spent in raising his home on stilts rather than making a dam Beschattet: I liken myself to the angry next door neighbor who helps only because her home is also threatened BishopAlexander: What if the leak in the dam was left alone and no one was to tell him of this? DrX: Then it would leak. Wabishka: then all would perish BishopAlexander: My story shall teach you many things. Think upon them and learn. My time grows short. Speak your final thoughts. MorKano: But when everyone is helping, what happens when there are more leaks? there would be no one left to help. BishopAlexander: The rains must end some time must they not MorKano? It is late in your day. Rest. A new message shall come in the dawn. Be well. BishopAlexander bows deeply. top Dialogue 18 February 27, 2002 Everyone greeted Bishop BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: Greetings to you all. I have come this day to walk the lands in prayer. This is why you shall see me in the lands for a great time this day. If I have word it shall be given in this temple. Elmer: I am sure that there are many who shall benefit by your words, Bishop TopGun4: were your tasks completed Bishop? BishopAlexander: My tasks are many this day and they shall be complete when I take leave of you. TopGun4: may we assist? BishopAlexander: My task is one of prayer and understanding. There is nothing you can do to aid me. Bladez88: may i ask u a question bishop? BishopAlexander: You may ask your question. Bladez88: are the gods of one family? BishopAlexander: The answer to your question is yes and no. I will leave it at that. A very tricky subject that tends to be. BishopAlexander prays to Enid. BishopAlexander listens as Enid speaks to him. TopGun4 watches the bishop. TopGun4: BISHOP! BishopAlexander becomes combat ready. His clothes and hat turned red BishopAlexander: Fear not. As I walk the lands I must protect myself. TopGun4: if you are ever in need Bishop, we shall take up our swords to protect you... BishopAlexander nods. BishopAlexander: I must go to walk the lands. In time I will return to you in this place. |
